Course Content:

Oracle BI EE Basic Administration

This course provides an introduction into administering Oracle BI EE 10g using the Oracle BI
Administrator tool and the Oracle BI Presentation Server Administration site.
It takes delegates through the process of building an end-to-end semantic model, applying security to the
model and then administering the Presentation Server Web Catalog.

5. Oracle BI Server Security

· Security overview and options
· Setting up filters using security manager
· LDAP security integration

Day 4

Oracle BI EE Advanced Administration

Following on from the Oracle BI EE 10g Basic Administration course, this course teaches
delegates about more advanced BI EE concepts such as aggregates, caching, variables, crossdatabase
joins and writeback. It examines advanced security aspects such as Microsoft Active
Directory integration and the use of custom authenticators, and takes delegates through the
process of migrating projects through different environments and with multiple developers.

In addition to advanced development concepts, this course teaches Oracle BI EE troubleshooting
and fault resolution, monitoring and performance optimization.
