What you will learn:

This class is a hands-on lab-intensive course that will keep the student busy and active for the duration of the course.
This course will cover both the basics and advanced topics of OA Framework.

10-Jan-09	Saturday Day 1	7 Hrs	OAF Development	OA Framework Concepts, hello world and demo of data entry screen with explanation and assisted lab exercise
11-Jan-09	Sunday Day 2	7 Hrs	OAF Development	Concepts, followed by demo of search screen, following which learners will do Insert & delete functionality with lab exercises to be completed throughout the week
	Weekday Wednesday	2 Hrs		Trainer will help different students to complete in case they are stuck.
17-Jan-09	Saturday Day 3	7 Hrs	OAF Development	Concepts of updates to data and framework state management. Development of Update screen.and debugging exercise
18-Jan-09	Sunday Day 4	7 Hrs	OAF Development	Development demo of advanced topics like Partial Page rendering, concepts & demo of developing Master detail screen in OA Framework. Learners will be asked to implement a master detail data entry screen in OA Framework.
	Weekday Wednesday	2 Hrs		Trainer will help the learners complete their development of Master detail screen, if they are stuck
24-Jan-09	Saturday Day 5	7 Hrs	OAF Extensions	Trainer will demo deployment for one of the students tutorial. Trainer will demo extension of BC4J [VO, EO, AM ] and CO. These demonstrations will be based on real-life customizations & extensions done to iProcurement product using OA Framework.
25-Jan-09	Sunday Day 6	7 Hrs	OAF Extensions	Learners will be asked to develop real life extension on existing using OA Framework, for example in iProcurement, using BC4J and Controller extension, so that they can develop extensions to product in upgrade safe manner.

Further Notes
1	Students must keep all weekends free during the month of training. In case of a very unlikely slippage during unforeseen reasons, the 4th weekend will be used.
2	11.5.10 Version of jDeveloper will be used for OA Framework training
3	Students will be given a remote Windows Login to a windows server using RDP/mstsc. Hence the jDeveloper environment will be on the remote windows machine
4	Web Conferencing will be used to make training interactive
5	Learners can practice their lab sessions throughout the week. Students will have access to development environment on our servers for 3 Full weeks, so that they have ample time to complete tutorials explained by trainer

Set-up an OA Framework Development environment on a Microsoft Windows platform
Learn the basics of Jdeveloper with OA Extension
Create an OA Framework application that selects, inserts, updates, and deletes data from an Oracle Applications 11i instance
Extend and customize OA Frameworkusing best practices and various personalization features.
